If you're on Instagram, all-time Chabot favorite Mac Barnett is reading one of his books (and wearing a different hat!) every day at noon on Instagram Live, and Oliver Jeffers, author-illustrator of The Way Back Home, Lost and Found, Here We Are, The Fate of Fausto, and lots of other terrific books, is doing the same (well, not the hat part) at 11 a.m.
What book does every Chabot kid love? It won the California Young Reader Medal a couple of years ago, and we had to buy a second copy for the library because it was always checked out! It has a plain white cover with black type....If you guessed The Book with No Pictures, you're right! Watch the book's author, B. J. Novak, read his book to group of kids in New York.
